Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Contibot (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

Contibot provides a personal AI assistant that runs in an isolated virtual machine. The Service includes conversational AI, persistent memory, scheduled tasks, WhatsApp integration, a web dashboard, API access, and an extensible skill system. Features may change as the product evolves.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Distribute malware, spam, or unauthorized commercial messages
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data
• Use the Service for any activity that could damage, disable, or impair the infrastructure

5. Payment & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. All plans include a 3-day free trial. You may cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Your Data & Content

You retain ownership of all content you provide to the Service, including conversations, files, and configuration. We do not use your data to train AI models. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service. You may export or delete your data at any time through the dashboard.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Contibot and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service. Skills and plugins developed by the community are subject to their respective licenses.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not rely on the Service for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Contibot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except as required by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
